Founded in 2024 in Los Angeles, Little Tokyo Flea Market is a community-driven space created for everyone. We bring together local artists, small businesses, and our diverse community through fun, themed markets that celebrate creativity and culture.
Our events are designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and full of unique finds—from handmade goods to delicious treats. We’re proud to be both pet-friendly and family-friendly, creating an environment where everyone can feel at home.
ANSWER: LTFM at its core is a FLEA MARKET. It is a market for artists, collectors and small businesses FIRST. Many of our vendors create unique handmade or independently produced items. While vendors often create themed pieces inspired by the event, they are small businesses and independent artists, not commercial manufacturers. Because of this, themed items are often produced in small batches or limited quantities, and they take significant time and effort to create. This is why you may also see “old” themed items, or “off theme” items at markets.
ANSWER: If you’re on our social media pages, you can find all event-specific links in our bio. We also list current application links and available event dates there. If no links are visible, it means applications are currently closed but will reopen soon for upcoming events. You can also click ( Here ) for available application dates.
ANSWER: Our events team carefully goes through every application, and sends out acceptance letters at least a week before each event. If you haven’t heard from our events team via Instagram DM’s a week prior to a show date, then unfortunately you were not selected this time around. Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive for every event, we are unable to send letters of regret at this time. We do our best to rotate through vendors for every event to keep it new and exciting for attendees, so please don’t be discouraged and apply for other markets!
ANSWER: Regular Vendors (Art, Prints, Clothing, Accessories, etc.) A Seller’s Permit is recommended (optional, but helpful for collecting and reporting sales tax).
Food Vendors
Body Art / Tattoo Vendors
ANSWER: Any! At our core, we are a flea market, so we welcome any and all vendors of handmade goods, services, thrifted goods, clothing, foods, beverages and beyond. We are mindful to not have too many of the same type of vendor, but overlap can sometimes occur. If there are multiple vendors with similar goods, we do our best to ensure they are not neighboring booths. Our only requirements for the types of vendors we do not accept include the following: Absolutely NO fakes, counterfeits, drop shipping, or AI-generated products are allowed. Absolutely NO Stolen art (selling another artist’s work as your own) is allowed. Absolutely NO Broken, torn, or items in poor condition are allowed.
ANSWER: For now, send us a DM on our Instagram. In the future, we plan to have a suggestion box available for future market theme suggestions. Stay tuned!
ANSWER: We are the hosts of the market, so anything we share in our story is in collaboration with a small business. Please check out the page the item was shared from if you are interested in purchasing the product/ receiving more information on it!
ANSWER: All applicants are asked to select if they would like to join the waitlist when they apply. If you submitted an application for a market, then you are automatically on the waitlist for that market.
ANSWER: Yes, pets are welcome! However, for everyone’s safety and comfort, all pets must be well-behaved and not aggressive toward people or other animals at our markets.
ANSWER: Because we work solely with small/independent businesses, we are unable to offer similar/ the same theme back to back, despite popularity. Our vendors need time to create/curate their products, and often sell out at more popular themed markets. While we do plan to bring more popular themes back, they most likely won’t happen for at least 6 months after the last themed market.
